I am hoping to launch a podcast in 2024, but that project is on hold due to my current contract role as Visiting Faculty teaching abroad in the Cities in the 21st Century program. In the meantime, please read my blog posts!
The Placing podcast will home in on the impacts of our stories about place, heritage, culture and nature–and how tour guides, journalists, placemakers and others are shifting these stories.

In my neighborhood’s community garden, we share the tasks, work together, and share the day’s harvest. This is how we cultivate a spirit of community.
Oftentimes we use the metaphor of the “path” to describe our personal journeys, as if we are forging a path through a wild world, making our way alone. Yet the river reminds us of our interconnectedness.
